Privacy Policy

Your data is yours. Always. Learn how we keep things strictly local.

Last Updated: July 2026

1. Our Local-First Philosophy

At Imagerry, privacy isn’t just an afterthought—it’s built into our core. Our app is designed with a local-first approach. This means everything you do happens right on your device. We don’t have servers that process, view, or analyze your personal images.

2. Zero Image Uploads

We never upload, store, or view your images. Every single task—whether you’re converting an image, resizing, cropping, or adding styles—is done locally in your browser or desktop environment. Your image data never leaves your device. Period.

3. Desktop App Auto-Updates

Our desktop apps for macOS, Windows, and Linux are completely free from tracking and crash telemetry. We don’t watch how you use the app. The only time our app connects to the internet is to quickly check our update server for new versions. This simple ping only sends your OS version and IP address to validate the update—nothing else.

4. Your Local Data

Things like your workspace setups, saved galleries, and export preferences stay on your device (using IndexedDB in your browser or local storage on your desktop). We have absolutely no access to this data. Because of this, if your hard drive crashes, you uninstall the app, or you clear your browser cache, your saved data is permanently gone. Make sure to back up any files you export!

5. Payments & Your Billing Data

All purchases of Imagerry Pro are processed by Dodo Payments (operated by Dodo Payments Inc.), who acts as the Merchant of Record for every transaction. This means Dodo Payments is the legal seller of record — they appear on your bank or credit card statement, collect applicable taxes, and issue your invoice.

When you make a purchase, Dodo Payments collects and processes the personal data necessary to complete the transaction, including your name, email address, billing address, and payment method details. Imagerry never receives, stores, or has access to your full payment card numbers. All payment data is handled directly by Dodo Payments in compliance with PCI-DSS standards.

6. License Activations

We like to keep things simple. When you activate your Pro license, you don’t need to create an account, give us your name, or link a social profile. All you need is your license key.

To keep track of your device limits, the app generates a scrambled, anonymous “Device ID” based on your computer. This ID is completely random and cannot be used to figure out who you are or what computer you’re using.

7. Website Analytics

To help us see how visitors use our public website (imagerry.com), we use Google Analytics and Cloudflare Web Analytics. These tools collect basic, anonymous info like page views and browser types. Once you’re inside our web workspace, the only thing we log is a simple, anonymous counter for exports. This just tells us how many times a file was downloaded and in what format (like PNG or JPEG) so we know which features are actually helpful. That’s it. We absolutely never track your images, your clicks, or any personal data. And if you use our desktop apps, there is zero tracking or telemetry of any kind.

8. Third-Party CDNs

Our web app might load standard design elements (like icons) from public Content Delivery Networks (CDNs). Just like any normal web browsing, getting these assets means your IP address is exposed to those CDN providers. However, we don’t use any third-party tracking cookies or invasive analytics inside the app itself.

9. Feedback

We use Featurebase for optional feedback, feature requests, and bug reports. You can post anonymously without an account. If you sign up with your email and name, you’ll get updates when your feedback is addressed. Featurebase is never loaded inside the Imagerry app. Read their “Privacy Policy” for details.
